PIRA 1K10.20 Dynamic Torque: Ladder Against the Wall
Photo shows the demonstration used at the University of Texas
at Austin.
Instructions / Notes:
- Ladder leans again a heavy wooden structure placed on end.
- Hang mass from one of the lower rungs.
- Hang the mass at successively higher rungs until the ladder slips.
- The angle of the ladder may be adjusted until it slips.
- Sand paper may be used as a second surface.
