This demo consists of a frame affixing 72 40kHz transducers in an arrangement that creates an acoustic focus region in which small particles can be suspended, and a power and control panel.

Instructions / Notes:
To start, flip the red switch on the control panel.
Use tweezers of fingers to drop small styrofoam particles into the central axis of the levitator.
Alternatively, lay the frame on its side, place the rag underneath, and use the eyedropper to drop small beads of colored water into the center axis of the levitator.
When lifting, waving, and shaking the levitator, be mindful of the wires and hold a short length with your free hand to avoid yanking or tangling.
Demo Staff:
Plug in the apparatus and ensure the switch is set to the off position before class
Provide tweezers, several small pieces of styrofoam, an eye dropper with dyed
water, and a rag.
