Instructions / Notes:
- Two Chladni plates are sprinkled with sand, which are then are excited with a violin bow.
- Violin bow should be well rosined before using.
- Hold the bow perpendicular to the plate. - Then move the bow in a single stroke against the edge of the plate.
- Hold your thumb against the plate near to where the bow makes contact to force a nodal point on the pattern.
