Announcements:

1.  TA – sessions for [57027 T6-7p] and [57029 Th6-7p] are not available. Students who have the enrolled with the unique numbers 57027 or 57029 must pay attention to this announcement.

o   1) Since you are in chiu-section you must not attempt to re-enroll to change your unique number to match the unique number of the TA session you are attending. If you did so it would send you to one of Dr. Antoniewicz’s  sections.

o   2) You need to wait for my Blackboard (email) announcement. I will tell you how to sign up a TA session, which has a different unique number than yours, for you to attend.

o   3) When you are in the TA session with different unique number, you must tell the TA that you have your own unique number  ( i.e. either 57027 or 57029). In this way the TA can keep your record under your own unique number.

2.  Clicker related issues

o   Occasionally the serial number of a clicker might not be the same as that printed at the back of the clicker. The only way to be sure is to go to the ITS office in FAC and let them read the signal. Once the serial number of the signal is known, please see Patsy McDonald WCH 2.207,  (512)471-5416.

o   During the semester there is no adjustment on your iq-scores. We give you 4 drops to compensate legitimate excuses, various clicker related issues including incorrect serial numbers of your clicker signals, etc.  Use your drops sparingly.

o   If you enroll in the class late, make sure you record the starting date you attend this class. We will credit the iq credits you missed prior to your enrollment at the end of the semester.

3. I encourage you to joint the face book.  Our group in facebook is: Phy 303L M&I, Spring12

4. Contact your instructor through email and office hours.

o   Email me your questions on homework, lecture, clicker questions and textbook materials etc. (subject line should have: 303L-MI)

o   See me in person: After the lecture, or office hours: MWF 9 to 10pm. Other time by appointment.
