PIRA 1M40.50 Conservation of Energy: Maxwell Wheel
Instructions / Notes:
- The wheel is first rotated by hand till it is raised to the top frame.
- After the wheel is released it accelerates in both rotational and translational motion.
- Demo staff instruction: place the demo on a solid level surface.
- Faculty instruction: when the wheel reaches the highest position, carefully release both hands simultaneously.
