Two concave mirrors face each other to form a clam shell .

The top mirror has hold in the center through which a real image versus a virtual image can be observed.
-
The projected image, in this case a pig, appears to be resting on top of a convex surface.
-
The pig is used because it is made soft enough material so as to not scratch
the mirror.
