of Texas at Austin.
Instructions / Notes:
- Demonstration includes a laser and an adjustable single slit .
- Turn-off when not in use. Students may inadvertantly look directly into the emitted ray.
- Turning the knob on the single slit apparatus widens and narrows the diffraction slit.
- The diffracted pattern is projected onto a screen on the side wall across the room.
