This is yet another very recent (January, 2007) illusion from Kitaoka. In cages whose mesh is of varous colors, we see dogs of various colors. How many different colored dogs do you see? I see at least two different shades of red/orange, and two different shades of green. However, the image is constructed with just one tint of red and one tint of green. Not much has been written about this particular illusion to date. It might be called the “chromatic dungeon” illusion, but I sure hope that name does not stick!!!
